Information about Judy: Judy Harland (nee Bye) was born and bred in Bourke, north western NSW.

 

Judy has a very interesting family history, descending from the Ngemba people from Gundabooka Mountain, Bourke. Judy’s mother, Grace was an amazing cook, for which I can vouch, as I worked with Gracie at the RSL Club in Bourke, many many years ago.

A lot of Judy's recipes have come from a collection of her mother, Gracie's "bible of recipes". Judy has kindly agreed to share some of these recipes with us on this site, for which we are very grateful.

Ingredients
One packet of Malt..o...milk biscuits
One can of condensed milk
One crushed violet crumble bar
300 mls cream
Method
Line the biscuits the same way in a tray
Mix the other ingredients well
Then spread onto biscuits evenly
Now place another layer of biscuits the same way as the others
Set in freezer......yum
