Karen was given this recipe by her mother-in-law, Joan Myors. Joan in turn was given the recipe from a lady from Bourke by the name of Cookie Tully. This recipe is a big hit in the "Myors Family".

Ingredients
1 pkt Vanilla/Butter Cake Mix
1 cup Coconut
125 g Margarine, melted
850 g Pie Apples, canned
300 ml Sour Cream
Cinnamon
Method
Mix together cake mix, coconut, and margarine
Press into Lamington tin
Bake 10 minutes in a 180C oven
Cool 5 minutes
Cover with pie apples and then sour cream
Sprinkle over cinnamon
Bake 30 minutes in a 180C oven
Tips & Tricks
Any tin frut can be used, just make sure it is mashed
Thickened cream also works
