Asian Spiced Roasted Pork Belly

Ingredients
- 1 kg Pork Belly
- 1/2/ cup Sherry
- 2 T Honey
- 3 tspn Garlic
- 2 tspn 5 Spice
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 T Sesame Oil
- 3 tspn Ginger
- 3 cups Water
Method
- Place pork in boiling water for 40 minutes and drain
- Mix rest of ingredients and add pork, coat well
- Cover and refrigerate for 3-8 hours, turning at least twice
- Preheat oven to 200C
- Place pork in a dish, skin side up on a rack with water underneath
- Roast uncovered for 45 minutes
- Meanwhile strain marinade into small saucepan
- Simmer until reduced to 1 cup
- Stir in water cornflour mix to thickness desired
- Slice pork and pour over sauce
- Cover with foil and cook in warm oven (160C) for a half hour and then serve
