




Chewy Brownie

Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 250 g cooking chocolate
- 6 eggs (lightly whisked)
- 3 cups raw sugar
- 230 g plain flour (sifted)
- 60 g cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 180 - 200 deg C
- Grease square cake tin (or baking dish)
- Simmer a quantity of water in a saucepan
- Place butter, chocolate and sugar in a bowl over saucepan of water
- Stir until melted and sugar has dissolved
- Remove from heat
- Quickly stirring in eggs, sifted flour, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt until combined
- Pour into prepared cake tin
- Bake for 30-45 minutes (depending on preferred texture)
