




Chinese Slow Cooked Pork

Ingredients
- 3 Mandarins ( 1 orange if out of season)
- 2 tspns Ginger
- 1/2 cup Chicken Stock
- 1/2 tspn Pepper
- 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
- 4 Pork Chops/Cutlets or equivilent in Pork Rashers
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Plain Flour
- 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
- 2 Tblspn Oil
Method
- Preheat Oven to 150 C
- Finely grate rind of 1 mandarin, then juice it.
- Peel and segment the other Mandarins and set aside.
- Combine juice, rind, stock, soy, sugar, garlic, ginger and pepper in a jug, then warm in Microwave.
- Lightly coat meat with flour, heat oil in a casserolepan then brown meat.
- Pour juice mixture over top and cover
- Cook in oven for 1 1/2 hours
