




Cottage Pudding

Ingredients
- 2 cups SR flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mixed fruit
- Pinch nutmeg
Method
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add beaten eggs - mix
- Add milk, fruit, flour, salt and pinch of nutmeg
- Mix thoroughly
- Pour into a greased steaming mould
- Place in boiling water and cook for 2 hours
