




Crab Balls
Recipe supplied by: Jenny Gibbons
Ingredients
- 1 small tin crab meat (or fresh crab meat)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cornflour
Method
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Add flour and cook for 1 minute (without browning)
- Stir in milk and continue stirring over heat until thickened
- Add crab meat and salt
- Chill
- Form into balls the size of walnuts
- Roll in cornflour
- Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown
