Creamy Bacon Carbonara

Ingredients
- 500 g Fettucine, cooked and drained, reserve water
- 500 g Bacon, sliced thinly
- 200 g Mushrooms, sliced
- 3 Shallots, sliced
- Seasonings
- 2 Tblspn Dijon Mustard
- 300 ml Cream
- 1/2 cup Reserved Pasta Water
- 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
Method
- Brown bacon for 3-5 minutes
- Add mushrooms and shallots
- Cook for 3 minutes and add garlic
- Add reserved water and season to taste, then add mustard
- Stir in cream and cook 3-4 minutes
- Stir in pasta and serve
