Crock Pot Asian Spare Ribs

Ingredients
  • 12 Short Pork Spare Ribs-- less fat the better
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tblspn Hoi Sin Sauce
  • 1 Tblspn Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Lime- zested and juiced
  • 1 Tblspn Ginger
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
Method
  • Place ribs in boiling water for 20 minutes, then drain
  • Put in Crock Pot (Slow Cooker)
  • Mix all other ingredients together and pour over ribs
  • Cook on high 3 hours, then low 6 hours
  • Remove ribs to a plate
  • Stir in some cornflour to thicken to your likening
  • Place ribs into sauce in slow cooker again and cook further 15 mins
