




Crock Pot Asian Spare Ribs

Ingredients
- 12 Short Pork Spare Ribs-- less fat the better
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Tblspn Hoi Sin Sauce
- 1 Tblspn Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 Lime- zested and juiced
- 1 Tblspn Ginger
- 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
Method
- Place ribs in boiling water for 20 minutes, then drain
- Put in Crock Pot (Slow Cooker)
- Mix all other ingredients together and pour over ribs
- Cook on high 3 hours, then low 6 hours
- Remove ribs to a plate
- Stir in some cornflour to thicken to your likening
- Place ribs into sauce in slow cooker again and cook further 15 mins
