Date Roll

Ingredients
- 1 cup Dates, chopped
- 1 tspn Bi Carb Soda
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- 1 Tblspn Margarine
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 cups Flour
Method
- Cover dates with water and bi carb
- Cream margarine and sugar
- Add egg, flour and date mix
- Place in greased Date Roll tins
- Bake 1 hour in 180C oven
