Information about this recipe: These are so good!!! Seth said “ew dates” but then said they were delicious after trying them when they were done. It’s a great low carb/sugar free dessert to take to family gatherings for those who can’t eat the regular desserts.

Ingredients
  • 1 bag Lily’s sugar free chocolate chips
  • Dates
  • Sugar free peanut butter
  • 1/2-1 T Coconut oil
  • Pecans
Method
  • Split and pit your dates and then flatten them out, laying them next to each other into a square or rectangle on a flat pan lined with wax paper.
  • Layer on your peanut butter over the dates (as little or as much as you want), then place a pecan wherever you estimate the dates are.
  • Add coconut oil to a bowl and a bag of Lily’s chocolate chips. Melt them in the microwave in 30 second intervals until they are all melted. Stirring often.
  • Pour the chocolate over the top of the pecans and then place the pan into the freezer to set up for about 10 minutes.

Dish If you like flakey salt, you can sprinkle some on before freezing. You can also make this holiday themed by adding holiday sprinkles before freezing too.
