Easy Quiche Lorraine

Information about this recipe: This recipe is a family favourite for Karen's family. It is so easy and she sometimes turns them into little pies for the grandchildren.

Ingredients
  • 2 Shortcrust Pastry Sheets
  • 3 Shallots, sliced
  • 3 Bacon Rashers, chopped
  • 300 ml Cream
  • 5 Eggs , lightly beaten
  • 125 g Grated Cheese
  • 1 tspn Mustard
  • Pinch Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • Seasonings
Method
  • Lay pastry loosely in Flan Tin, just overlapping
  • In a bowl add all ingredients and mix very well
  • Pour into shell / pastry
  • Cook in 180C oven for 50-60 minutes until brown and firm in centre
