Garlic Tumeric Rice

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or coconut oil.
- 1/2 medium onion finly diced.
- 4 cloves garlic minced.
- 1 teaspoon tumeric powder.
- 2 cups (370gm) basamati rice or your choice long grain rice, rinced and drained.
- 3 cups chicken stock or vege stock.
- 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste.
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste.
Method
- Melt butter in pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic and saute for about 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.
- Add tumeric powder and stir to combine.
- Mix rice in until the grains are evenly coated lightly toasted.
