




Honeycomb Toffee
Recipe supplied by: Elaine McGirr
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon honey or treacle
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 dessert spoon of baking soda
Method
- Boil all ingredients until the mixture hardens if dropped into cold water (test as mixture is boiling)
- Stir in baking soda and as it froths pour into a greased dish to set
- Break into edible bits once set
