Italian Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 kg tomatoes
- 2 Cloves garlic crushed
- 2 Tblspn Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- Boiling water
Method
- Cut a small cross in the bottoms of the tomatoes, place in a bowl and cover with boiling water for 5 mins
- Peel tomatoes and chop up roughly
- In a large pan place tomatoes, garlic and olive oil
- Bring to the boil then simmer for 45 mins
- Add tomato paste and simmer slowly for 10 minutes
- Store in airtight jars
