




Jelly Slice

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 2/3 cup Coconut
- 2/3 cup SR Flour
- 85 g Melted Butter
- 400 g Can Condensed Milk
- 150 ml Lemon Juice
- 2 tspn Gelatine dissolved in 3/4 cup hot water
- 1 packet Red Jelly Crystals
Method
- Mix Sugar, Coconut, Flour and butter
- Press into Lamington Tray lined with paper
- Cook for 10 minutes in 160C oven then cool
- Make up Jelly Crystals as per instructions and leave to cool
- Mix Condensed milk, juice and gelatine
- Pour over biscuit base
- Refrigerate until set - about an hour
- Pour over cooled jelly and refrigerate a few hours until set
