




Jen’s Lamb Shanks

Ingredients
- 4 - 6 lamb shanks
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 clove garlic - crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 onion - chopped
- 1 tin tomatoes
Method
- Brown lamb shanks in a little oil
- When browned place shanks and remainder of ingredients in a baking dish
- Place in oven and bake moderately slow (160-180 deg C) for 3 hours or until tender
