Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
- 30g Butter
- 250g Punnet Sliced Mushrooms
- 1 small Brown Onion, chopped finely
- 1/2 cup White Wine/ Chicken Stock
- 1 Tblspn Finely chopped Thyme or Sage
- 300 mls Cream
- 1 Garlic Clove, crushed
Method
- Melt butter in frying pan over medium heat.
- Add onion,thyme and garlic, cooking for approx 5 minutes or until onion is soft.
- Add mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes
- Stir in wine and cream, increase heat and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmmer for 10 minutes or until reduced by half.
