




Pie Apple Tart

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup cornflour (sifted with SR flour)
- 3/4 cup SR flour (sifted with cornflour)
- Pinch of salt
- Tin of Pie Apple (430 g)
- Sour cream
- Nutmeg
Method
- Cream butter and sugar together
- Add egg and mix
- Add both flours (sifted together)
- Mix all ingredients together
- Roll pastry to a suitable thickness on a floured board (ensure you cover the rolling pin with flour)
- Place pastry into a pyrex dish or tin
- Add pie apple on top of pastr
- Add dobs of sour cream on top of pie apple and sprinkle with nutmeg
- Cook in moderate oven (180 deg C) for about an hour - check after 30 - 45 minutes
