




Plain Scones
Recipe supplied by: Jenny Gibbons
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1.5 cups SR flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Method
- Beat margarine until soft
- Add half the flour and mix well
- Add the remainder of the flour, salt and milk
- Mix to a soft dough
- Turn onto a floured board and knead lightly
- Cut scone shapes and place onto a greased tray
- Bake in a hot oven (200 deg C) for 10-15 minutes
