Plum Jam

Ingredients
- 2 kg Plums, quartered and de-stoned
- 1 Litre Water
- 1/3 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1.3 Kg Sugar
Method
- Place Plums and Water in a large pot
- Bring to boil, then reduce heat, simmer, covered for 1 hour
- Add Lemon Juice and Sugar, stir over heat without boiling until sugar dissolves
- Bring to boil and cook , without stirring, uncovered for approx 20 mins or until jam gels when tested
- Pour into hot sterilised jars and seal
