Ingredients
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/2 cabbage - detach the florets
  • 500g bacon
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 3/4 large tin of salmon - drained
  • Extra grated cheese
Method
  • Grease loaf tin
  • Line with thawed puff pastry
  • Partly boil cauliflower - until about 1/2 cooked
  • Fry bacon and onion together
  • Add cauliflower to bacon and onion
  • In a large bowl mix cream, eggs, grated cheese and salmon - mix well
  • Add cauliflower, bacon and onion mix to pastry
  • Pour the cream and salmon mixture on top
  • Gently push a knife around so cream mixture goes to the bottom and mixes well with cauliflower mix
  • Cook on 160 deg C for 45-60 minutes (when set)
  • Add some extra grated cheese on top for about 5 minutes prior to removing from the oven
Cooking Tips & Tricks
  • Bacon can be left out or substituted with capsicum or broccoli
