Ingredients
  • 16 oz bread crumbs
  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion (minced)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 oz blanched spinach
  • 1egg (white and yolk)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste
  • Cubed cheese to fill dumplings
Method
  • Sauté onions and garlic in butter
  • Chop spinach very fine
  • Combine all ingredients well except for the cheese
  • Form balls and insert a cube of cheese in each one
  • Boil in water or broth until dumplings surface
  • Cover with sauce or gravy that complements the sides that will be served
