




Spinach Dumplings

Ingredients
- 16 oz bread crumbs
- 1.5 cups of milk
- 0.5 cup chopped onion (minced)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 6 oz blanched spinach
- 1egg (white and yolk)
- 1 tbsp flour
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste
- Cubed cheese to fill dumplings
Method
- Sauté onions and garlic in butter
- Chop spinach very fine
- Combine all ingredients well except for the cheese
- Form balls and insert a cube of cheese in each one
- Boil in water or broth until dumplings surface
- Cover with sauce or gravy that complements the sides that will be served
